Always nice to get the Box.. :-)

I went to lunch, came back and my Destiny of Velious box was sitting on my desk…yeayyy.

I ordered a soft-case for the K-Pod tripod and adjustable legs for the Pocket Dolly this afternoon. It makes it so I can grab the Dolly off the Jib if I need to and shoot low to the ground, or table top shots, or whatever. It also lets me be able to leave the Jib at home if I don’t want to bring the beast to a shoot. I figure it would add some flexibility to the current setup.

Now that I have all this new crazy Kessler gear, I’m itching to take it out and shoot something. :-)

  1. According to IMDB the budget for Blood and Bone was estimated at $3.7 million.

  2. I also like logline of the film: “In A World Without Rules, He Makes His Own”

  3. Yeah, that sounds right. I keep thinking in ultra indie mode where nobody gets paid…lol. I wish I could find a site that gives you accurate data on budget, but also box office “and” DVD grosses for indie films. Usually you can find box office gross, but you don’t get the big picture when DVD sales are involved…especially for small indie releases.

I heard you can get a lot more info if you subscribe to IMDB Pro but I haven’t checked it out. Has anyone found a site that has that kind of info?

  4. Yep, I hear you there, hard to get this info it’s spotty at best. I may join IMDB Pro and test it out to see what it’s like. There’s boxofficemojo but it doesn’t go into the detail I’d like to see…

  5. I guess $3.7M is not outrageous when you figure the movie was actually pretty good. I would not want to tell Mr. Slice or Mr. Bone they were not going to be paid :)

  6. I think the iron man award should go to Ribs McGee (“Joker”) for showing up to movie night after being in a car crash earlier in the week. Thumbs (not) up (my butt) to you Joker.

  7. ROFL…hilarious pun there CB. :-)

Had a great time last night with ya all…A fun night of “Ice Cold Action…Action…Action…” lol..

It was fun to see the Joker Fashion Show as well. Thanks for being a great sport about it!
