An interesting Sunday….sort of…

Well today I was feeling better so we headed downtown SD to hook up with Rhodes to fit him with the police uniform. It was fun hanging out with him and we did lunch in old town. On the way down there however, we were almost in a accident. We were in Shannie’s Honda Fit on I-15 right near the 8 junction when a car heading off onto 8 lost control, smashed into the car next to him sending both cars into a spin heading into the main moving lanes.

Shannie slowed down. We were in the second to the fast lane, but one of the cars slid right in front of us hitting the car that passed along side of us in the fast lane apparently unaware what was going on. As Shannie’s car skidded to a halt, the cars in front of us pretty much stopped about 2 feet from our front bumper. Luckily everyone else behind us stopped in time and didn’t slam into us from behind.

I have driven those Big Ten car carriers professionally for a few years logging thousands of hours of drive time so I dont really get rattled on the freeway when things like this happen, but I have to say my Shannie Baby did a great job keeping a cool head and avoiding the crash as it unfolded in front of us. Good job baby!

Other than that, it was a pretty uneventful day. We rented BRUNO on demand which is totally fucking awesome. lol…If you haven’t seen it, you should. We saw it in the theater on opening night and it’s still as twisted and funny as I remembered it.
